Marketing Manager / Flagler County Tourism Council
This position supports the Flagler County Tourist Development Council to promote tourism in Flagler County. Person of interest will report to the Vice president of Tourism Development. Primary duties are to develop the sports niche market, and the leisure market in Flagler County.
Job Duties Include:
• Develops and coordinates and communicates new tourism partner services (i.e.) distribution of inquiry leads, email communication, promotions)
• Research and gain knowledge of Sporting Event Planners requirements and needs
• Develop and implement social media strategies by staying current on all aspects of twitter, facebook, linkedin and other social media sites
• Track internet marketing activities and results
• On-going development and enhancement of visitflagler.org
• Manage public relation opportunities, press releases, writes articles for blogs, newsletters, publications, partner enewsletter, visitor enewsletter etc.
• Attend trade shows in target markets to promote Flagler County as a desireable destination
• Assisting in implementation of marketing collateral and advertising campaign deadlines
Requirements/Qualifications
• The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years experience in management role, preferably in marketing or communications. Candidates should have excellent computer skills, be highly organized and possess excellent writing skills. Proficiency in Publisher and Photoshop a plus.
• Bachelors Degree in marketing and/or communications
• Preference will be given to Flagler County residents
Compensation
The salary for this position is $35,000 annually. Vacation and Health Benefits are provided.

E-marketing Specialist
Security First Insurance Company, an Ormond Beach-based homeowners insurance provider, is seeking an e-marketing specialist to develop, implement and manage online marketing and advertising. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced marketer to gain exposure in a broad range of traditional and non-traditional advertising including, television, social media marketing and mobile app development.
The e-marketing specialist will help drive traffic by producing, enahncing and maintaining web pages, templates, email blasts, and other web material. He or she must have a keen understanding of creating and delivering cohesive, compelling content and engaging audiences in meaningful ways through mutliple channels. The e-markeing specialist will work with the Director of Marketing to assist with the planning, development and coordination of marketing and communication activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Add, edit website content using content management system
• Writes and edit copy for online, print and email communications
• Design for web and print using Adobe Creative Suite, basic HTML and CSS
• Manage and Monitor Search Engine Optimization
• Social Media Marketing
• Manage and grow email marketing programs
• Manitain and organize marketing material inventory
• Coordinate and participate in events/corporate sposnorships
• Assist with the management of online ad campaigns
• Search engine optimization
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, business or related field
• Three to five years experience • Excellent writer and communicator • One to three years as a web content provider or related position having content development experience • Graphic Design experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail
Must be computer literate with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and HTML. Knowledge of MS Word, EXCEL, Power Point, Outlook, Google Analytics and Social Media networks: Facebook, LimkedIn and Twitter required.
